About
Ernie Lee is an aviation educator and doctoral student with more than 6,000 flight hours and a decade of international airline experience. He was a Senior First Officer with EVA Airways.
He is currently an Assistant Instructor of Aviation at the University of Central Missouri, teaching Advanced Flight Crew Management, Aircraft Systems, Flight Management Systems, and Aviation Weather. His teaching is scenario-based and competency-based, keeping coursework closely aligned with airline industry practice, and supported by training tools he builds himself for hands-on student practice.
His research interests include pilot training effectiveness, human factors, and aviation safety.
